This was the beach where I went in the ocean.
There are many beautiful beaches around Bateman's Bay.
Fishermen love to fish off the rocks.
One side of the rocks is the pounding surf, the other is this beautiful serene inlet.
I was determined, no matter the cold, no matter my health, I was going to stand in the ocean! I did :) and you likely have seen those photos already. This is my beach :) I do not know the name of it but I am sure it has a name. After my time in the surf we went walking up on the rocks. Guess what I saw? A whale! Well, the tail of it anyway. Anyone who was around was quite astonished because they just do not see whales there. It was almost like it came in and waved its fin at me as if to say hello, welcome to Australia, welcome to the sea. I was so excited! But a camera could not pick it up. We tried lol. Also, what looked like a jagged row of rocks turned out to have a walkway along the center. So we walked out there. That is when I spotted the whale. Coming back, the inlet to the left was so beautiful. So peaceful and still. On the ocean side the spray would come way up higher then me. And that rock ledge is very high indeed.
