As luck would have it, we got stranded in LA in the middle of the night. What seemed like a disaster turned out to be a wonderful extension to an already wonderful vacation. After a few hours sleep and being rescued by an old family friend who lives in W. Hollywood...we were ready to see the sights. Off to Santa Monica, a delightful lunch at Johnny Rockets, The Pier, then home to meet my internet friend Deb, who had flown in to L.A when she heard I was there! We all went out for a late dinner, then in the morning we were off to see more sites. We were on the go all day. Lunch on the beach, Beverly Hills, the Hollywood Hills, the Hollywood sign, Burbank...we saw a lot in one day! We had a wonderful time!
